A note from Mr. Wright
Welcome to West Pine Middle School’s musical theater production of Frozen, Jr.!
Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. Through the relationship of Anna and Elsa, audiences learn the power of family and learn that love is the most powerful magic of all. The themes of this story encourages us to celebrate our differences that make us truly unique.
It is no secret that producing a show of this caliber is a daunting task that not only requires an army of dedicated and passionate students but also steadfast leadership by professionals and volunteers. Most of our production staff has worked together in a variety of settings with Moore County Schools and her surrounding area, since 1996. Networking and a heart for serving others through arts education has been our approach along. When combining the dedication and experience of our directorial team with the plethora of parent volunteers that annually step up to lend a hand for our productions, what results is pure magic! From costumes to makeup, prop collection to set building, painting, publicity, logistics, printing, and much more...it could not all be done without the help of many, many students, professionals and parents!
In short, all of us who have worked exhaustively on this production realize there is something unparalleled about theater arts and we appreciate your continued support, collaboration and attendance this evening!
